Help Us Create a Lasting Keepsake for Our 200th Anniversary!


How You Can Participate

We are inviting every church family to contribute recipes. Our goal is to have participation from as many members as possible, and we would love to receive one - two recipes from every family. 

We want your family favorites, children's recipes, or those special recipes passed down through the years. 

In addition to recipes, we are also seeking:

  • Historical photographs of church life through the years
  • Church fellowship and meal memories
  • Short Stories connected to food, celebrations, and church traditions
  • Special memories that help tell the story of Perry Methodist Church

These photographs, stories, and memories are an important part of our church heritage and may otherwise be lost. Together, they will help create a snapshot of Perry Methodist Church during this historic 200th Anniversary year.  Photos, stories, memories, and recipes will be included as space permits.  


Recipes and stories may be submitted HERE , emailed to cookbook@perrymethodist.com, or dropped off in the church office. 
Clearly handwritten recipes, memories, or stories are also acceptable.  


Please make sure to include your name, contact information, recipe name, ingredients, and instructions with each submission.  

Donations

We are also seeking donations to help offset publication costs. Every dollar raised toward the cookbook's production helps maximize the amount that can ultimately be directed to Missions.  Mark your donation "Cookbook" and place it in the offering plate. 

If you want to give a donation online, please do it here and call the church office to notate this is a donation for the cookbook.  

Preordering Your Cookbook

We will offer a way to pre-order your cookbook in the coming weeks.

Pre-ordering helps us have enough books for everyone.
