200 Years of Perry Methodist Church

For 200 years, Perry Methodist Church has been a place of worship, service, fellowship, and faith.  Generations have gathered here to hear God’s Word, care for their neighbors, raise their families in faith, and share the love of Christ with our community.

In August, we celebrated this incredible milestone with a community street party, special worship services, music, fellowship, and a church-wide meal.
It was a wonderful weekend of remembering the people who came before us and giving thanks for God’s faithfulness through every generation.

But our 200th anniversary was more than a celebration of our past.
It was a reminder that our ministry continues.  The same God who has faithfully led
Perry Methodist for 200 years is still at work among us.

We move forward committed to worshiping Christ, serving our community, welcoming others, and passing our faith to the generations that follow.

Two hundred years of ministry—and by God’s grace, our story is still being written.
